Power Dynamics maintains a 50 kip hydraulic tensioner available for rent by our customers.  This tensioner is of a cantilever design (one side open) and has a maximum lay speed of 80 feet per minute.

It utilizes electronic digital controls, and can handle pipe sizes ranging from 2" up to 36" OD. It is powered by a diesel fueled Hydraulic Power Unit, which has a fuel capacity of 100gallons.

The tensioner has an operating weight of 41,500 lbs, and the HPU has an operating weight of 12,000 lbs.
